Grants are available to help with:
● books and equipment
● travel costs
● UK based field trips that are an essential part of your course
● the cost of tools and equipment for those starting work
● course fees (depending on the course you are studying)
● general living costs

We cannot make grants for:
● computers
● overseas trips and placements
● holidays
● childcare costs
● education at private schools, colleges or universities
● general clothing or household items including white goods and furniture
● second degrees
● post graduate study (except for essential courses, please see the section on post graduate study for further information)
